As always let's share what we are all reading this new week and of course if you are enjoying it. Happy reading.
I wasn't very impressed with Olivia Joules and the Overactive Imagination by Helen Fielding. Actually some part kinda bored me although the convo between Olivia & Kate were most funny & it reminds me of Bridget Jones & her gal pals.
The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger is a nice fantasy love story. I like the writing & most of all the fantasy of time travel. If only everyone of us can find our love one from an early age, it would surely save a lot of heartaches. The story is well crafted with great imagination.
I'm going to start Chocolat by Joanne Harris next & hopefully I'll enjoy it more than the movie.
I'm reading Eclipse (from the Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer) but I do have to say...the second book was a bit boring for me...and the third isn't much different. None the less, I'll still read through to the end of the 4th book.
If I can get through the rest of 3 and then 4 by weeks end, I'll start Edward Swatelle after that.
Currently reading Comfort Food...It is ok...Not wild about it....unless it gets better....Have a bunch from the library to read....
I started Black Out by Lisa Unger last night. It's intriguing so far because of the premise of the book, you're not exactly sure what's happening at this point. My hold came in for The Mercedes Coffin by Faye Kellerman so I'm anxious to get to that one as well. She is one of my favourite mystery writers.
Well, I'm still working on THREE CUPS OF TEA.
Hello everyone! I'm reading The Little Book, by Selden Edwards. I just started it this morning during my commute (take public transit, so I'm not endangering anyone ;-) So far so good, although it does seem like it's going to be an odd story. It's about a guy that time travels--so far there is no reason why--from 1970s California to late 19th century Vienna.
Jen, I read The Time Traveler's Wife, too, and it was pretty enjoyable. Ruth is right, Chocolat the book is better than the movie (even though I do love Johnny Depp).
