New Baby Girl!

So... How is everyone? I am still in a state of infatuation & amazement! We had our baby girl Madison Jane on April 9th at 9:02am. Since then it has been a whirlwind of everything under the sun as most of you all well know. This is my first baby girl & I must say that it is so very different from when I had my son. Granted that was 12 years ago & I was also much different, there still is more that's different than maturity & experience. It's not that I love her more, but differently I suppose. I was fortunate that my company allowed me to work from home the month after she was born, it gave me a lot of time to bond with my daughter & help mommy recover from her ordeal! Fortunately it wasnt as bad as she thought it would be, her daughter took 2 & a half hours to birth, Madison clocked in at a record 8 & a half minutes! This also was a very different experience for me as my son was a C section & this was my first vaginal birth. It was quite an emotional experience. Since then it has been a tumultuous ride of love & frustration, trying to help mommy re-adjust, I actually didn't think I could be too involved, but I somehow managed to make her feel left out. I was just trying to take as much load off of her while she recovered but in the process somehow took on too much & made her feel bad. She even said it seemed more like I gave birth to Madison than she did. Fortunately we talked about it & worked it all out. I still have sharing issues but am on a 12 step program to let others(especially mom) share in the wonder of my...ahem "our" little angel. I promise to update you all more as things get more settled, but I wanted to pop in, let you know we are alive & doing well & say that I have missed talking with you all. Hopefully we will get the chance to talk more about all the changes tha have happened, especially in how I feel about previous turmoils. Hope you all have a really great day & I will talk with you soon!

Most Sincerely,

Stephen
