i prefer Missionary. Or guy on top i should say. to me the term missionary sounds dull. Why did they even name it that? Anyways. although I do like riding my guy, I get alot more excitment when he is on top. When you're in missionary, you can either make slow passionate love, or you can have some hard and fast rough sex. i like it when my guy puts my legs up over his shoulders. the feeling is so deep. there is this other thing I love. Basically you start missionary and while he is in you, you close your legs and have him straddle you. He then just grinds real hard against your clitoris area. Circles, side to side, It is amazing. Oh yueah and Ishytish, I love your comments, and you seem to know alot. Could you please enlighten us on some new missionary variations?

I wonder what they thought when they got to India and found the Kama Sutra????
RAOFL!! Okay, that was a good one. I wondered that too. Now I'd like some insight on something else though.
Is it true at all that part of the reason the Christians 'reduced' the variations to "missionary" because the other variations used by those people(s) 'mixed in' the actual sinful practices (Biblically speaking of course) such as threesomes/orgies and sodomy (among others)? Because of the confusion involved, was that (or not) the or part of the reason?
Thought I read that from Christian Research Institute or something like that.
much appreciated

She does enjoy both for pretty much those same reasons, but man o man does she explode when she's on top. ZOW!! When she's up, SHE gets to control everything and she loves it that way. She controls the rythm, the speed, how deep, the angles, EVERYthing...just the way she likes it.
Yep, she loves the surprises I throw at her when I'm on top or even doggy for that matter. Doggy is usually her enjoying the hardest thrusting, but for the deepest grinding at 'her' pace and style, she rolls me over and hops on...DONE! LOL!!! Without a doubt, we've both agreed everytime that woman superior for us actually "hits the spot" without fail. ;]

I'm sure their earlier practices were continued in privacy......just as today, many things go on in "Christian" households that the preacher might have apoplexy over. And of course some things go on in the preacher's lives that the parishoners might be very shocked at. The names Swaggart & Bakker come to mind, lol

Actually, missionary is my DH's favorite position to orgasm. Usually no matter what positions we switch around with, we eventually end up in missionary for his orgasm. I think I'm abnormal anyhow because I don't have a particular g-spot, at least I don't feel that only one spot needs to be massaged during intercourse. I get a feeling or need to be fulfilled, and the pressure of the penis(all of it) is what my body craves. So for me, any position feels great. I do love missionary for many reasons though. It's the only position that my DH can alternate outercourse with intercourse easily; same with oral and intercourse; if we're making love, I love to be close to his face because I like to kiss a LOT and love the eye contact; I love looking at his strong arms holding himself over me(something primal about it)...just to name a few.
As the Blue's Brothers would say "We're on a Mission from God."

Got it.
"...but I read a lot."
Okay, what I've learned in all of MY reading is that it isn't how much you read that matters...but its how much of WHAT you read that matters. LOL!!
If I'm reading about what the "spoil"ing Christians did from non-Christian sources only, then I'm certainly going to get a different rendering from that of an actual Christian source. That is why I prefer comparing both sides of everything.
Now by what I've learned, there were certain "orthodox" Christian values (if you will) that taught what you were discussing, but in reality, I don't really recall anything saying that Christians condemned all sexual positions except missionary. After all, just reading the Song of Solomon or listening to the wisdom in Proverbs for that matter goes against that kind of thinking.
Anyway, this is why I was specifically asking about other positions being conformed by those polynesians at the time from what was Biblically acceptable into what was not. Example, doggy was not sinful, but conforming doggy toward sodomy was.
So I was asking if THAT was one of the examples as to why they were taught to stick with just missionary, as opposed to being taught for no real reason as your message seems to suggest.
