Very Important question! Need Advice!

My DSO and I were "playing" last night. It was about 10:30 or 11:00 and all of a sudden the phone rang. We ignored it and kept going, but it just kept ringing! So finally he got up to answer the phone, and I stayed in the bedroom. He came back in with this big huge smile on his face. When I asked him who it was he said it was our apartment manager, and she said people had called her and said we were being to loud! He thought it was funny, but I wanted to die. I didn't realize I was being that loud.

My question is...has that happened to anyone else, and what to you do to not be so loud? When I was married before this was never a problem, I'm sure you can figure out why. We just recently moved into these apartments and I dont want to be known as the girl who cant be quite. But I'm sure not going to stop, so any advice you have will be very helpful.

Thank you.

Biting your lip or a pillow if very good. You might just have to accept that you have to learn that you have to be quiet.

My partner lives with her sister and we have to be quiet even though she is very vocal. You do what you have to....

hey, are you my neighbor?? my neighbors were very loud, but recently quieted down.

some tips

1. make sure your windows aren't open

2. if you think you will be making significant amounts of noise please don't do it in the middle of the night.

3. turn music on to drown out sex noise

4. try to be more conscious of your vocalizations (even if it breaks the mood a bit) until you have learned to control it

5. bite the pillow

6. express the intensity in some other way (leave some scratch marks on his back!)

thanks for caring enough to keep it down.
