Hey, i have been reading this site for months, and finally I have had the courage to post. I have posted on the Are you pregnant site, but I am going to post on this site as well.
I have not had sex, but i was hoping maybe i could get some answers anyway.
My breasts have been hurting bad, I can't sleep on my stomach, and they hurt for me to even touch. This has been going on since November. I had one week at the beginning of january when they didn't hurt, and i was sooo relieved. I thought it was over with. I am 19 years old, and I have had regular periods since I started when i was 13. Like clockwork, every 28 days and lasted for 7. Since October, My periods have varied from 22 days, to even 32 days and lasting from 4 days to even 9 days. My boobs have been hurting during, before and after my periods. They used to be a little tender about 2 days before my period, and sometimes wouldn't even hurt at all. My boyfriend even notices that they are bigger. I gave up caffine for a little bit (i am a sophomore in college...need some cokes every now and then!) but that didn't do the trick. I am taking pain medications and everything... still nothing. I am even on PMS medications...not working either. Any advice on how to deal with this. My doctor said that this is normal at my age...but 3 months w/no end in site doesn't seem normal to me.
Any advice... i really would like to have no pain!

Try taking dietary suppliments of Evening Primrose Oil. It's in capsules and is generally stocked with vitamins suppliments in stores. I've found that it does wonders for sore breasts and hormone related breast lumps....they can clear up within a month.
(I'm not in America, so if anyone can give clearer directions for finding it, I would appreciate it.)
Don't know if anyone is still checking this, but I found this article VERY interesting in regards to some of their findings involving breast pain:
http://www.womentowomen.com/LIBbreastpain.asp
One of the common things I remember reading had something to do with cutting down on ANYthing that dealt with blood pressure . This would obviously include cutting down on salts and higher cholesterol foods and especially caffiene.
Beats me what the connection was, but my very best guess would be to thin out the blood pressure a little and that would somehow help relieve the breast pain, which was thought to be due to the pressure I'm guessing? Not sure at all, just a guess.
Anyway, if any of you out there have any experience or knowledge on this, I think it'd benifit a lot of people, including those non-members out there who may be reading.
