uncircumsized????

Okay, I am pretty certain I know the answer to this question that has plagued me for two years now.....but need to make sure.
I think that my current boyfriend is uncircumsized. He claims that he is (circumsized). I don't want to push b/c it seems to be a sensitive subject for most men. I've only seen a few other penises in my lifetime to compare and they were all circumsized I think! (they looked different)
Okay-- so isn't foreskin skin that covers the head (but not completely) when the penis isn't erect? But when the penis is (erect) it looks no different than a circumsized one?
He would kill me if he knew I wrote this.......

First, I would think he would know if he was or wasn't circumcised. Second, it's an operation done by a doctor shortly after birth (or in the case of a Jewish baby, a Mohel)and it depends on how much skin the doctor removes when he does it.

An uncircumcised foreskin can sometimes cover the WHOLE head when it's flaccid (with some skin left over, and then disappear when it's erect. Like everything else about human bodies, they're all different, and all circumcisions are different, too. For one thing, the doctor has no idea what the penis will be like when the baby becomes a man. Some men are very small when flaccid, and then grow a LOT when they're erect. Some men are larger when flaccid, and grow very little when they're erect. So, he takes off what he thinks will be the right amount of skin....but in later years, it turns out that he could have taken off more. In the end, it doesn't really matter, because to a woman, there is VERY little if any difference.

It's really difficult to describe it in writing. You'd be better to sneak a peek at some real ones. Try wwwDOTforeskin.org for some pictures. Be warned there are some graphic penis pictures on this site but it is not a porn site.

Basically, an uncircumsized penis has a _lot_ of loose skin called the foreskin that covers the head. Sometimes it stays over the head when he's erect, usually it kinda pulls back and lies along the shaft as he gets erect. Most of the time it will cover the head when he is flaccid. There are even odd cases of circumsized guys that still have plenty of skin that partially covers things because the circumsizion wasn't done properly.

Many drs. choose to leave some foreskin during circumcision. Not all remove the entire thing. I was told by my son's dr. that it's preferable to leave some tissue than to take it all.

I am uncircumsized, and the foreskin soes not always retract fully when I get an erection, the head of my penis sometimes does not get fully exposed until after it has entered the woman's vagina, the thrusting action causes the skin to roll back below the head where it stays until I lose my erection.
The first few times I had unprotected sex with a woman this actually hurt slightly, but not since then. Just rubbing my penis up and down against the woman's skin as part of foreplay usually works too.

Just curious. You can not easily pull the skin back on your own? Does a woman's vagina pull harder on your skin than your fist? Does the lubrication help to slide it back?

I usually pull back the skin with my hand, but I don't want to give the woman the impression that I am pleasuring myself :-) so it doesn't always stay back...
I think the woman's lubrication does help a lot, I will usually enter her and withdraw several times before staying in and thrusting her to orgasm. If we switch to oral sex at that point, the head of my penis will be fully exposed by then, so it looks fully circumsized.
I have found that women don't like giving blowjobs if there is skin in the way ??

>>You can not easily pull the skin back on your own?

I'll just add to germt's answers. Personally, I can easily pull the skin back. My foreskin is not tight around my penis. It moves very easily. If I don't touch my penis as it becomes erect the skin will naturally pull back a little and leave the head 1/2 exposed. It will still easily cover the head when erect if I push it forward a little but it naturally likes to draw back slightly.

>>Does a woman's vagina pull harder on your skin than your fist?
No, not at all. Conpletely different.

>>Does the lubrication help to slide it back?
Well,... yes, lube makes everything more slippery. My foreskin will pull back quite happily and quite easily without lubrication. My foreskin isn't tight around my penis. It's quite loose and easy to move in it's own way. You can slide the foreskin right back so that its right back along the shaft, or you can push it over the head, but if you leave it alone and let it "do it's own thing" then it'll end up somewhere between leaving the head completely uncovered and "bunching up" just behind the rim, or slightly over the head leaving half the head uncovered.

My foreskin is snug and completely covers the head of my penis even when erect. When flacid, there's some 'overhang', or loose skin that closes and forms a small tube of skin at the very end. My foreskin will tend to retract upon insertion if my partner isn't wet and slippery. If she's wet and really ready I can slide inside with foreskin still in place.
It sounds to me that your partner has been circumcised but there is still some foreskin left.
