Did sex feel different after childbirth?

This question is for both men and women but I'm especially interested in the male point of view here. After your wife gave birth did you notice penetration being less enjoyable due to the stretching or anything? Just curious as to what it might feel like to DH after our first child is born. Thanks.

If you attempt to have sex before her 6 wk. checkup after delivery, then yes, it may feel different to you. Bones actually have to move during delivery to make way for the baby to emerge so this isn't a quick process to recover from.
But once she completely heals and recovers, you shouldn't notice much if any difference. OF course, every woman is different, too.
to an extent yes... seems like the first couple times or so I certainly noticed a differance, my husband as well... but it got better every time. I've had 2 children and have to say after both (vaginal) deliverys the mucles in my pelvic floor and vagina were back to normal with about 8 weeks.
I have riden horses my entire life since I was 2 years old on a almost daily basis, the "posting" motion associated with riding requires the use of the muscles in your abs, butt and most of all pelvic floor. When delivering my first child a nurse with no knowledge of my hisrtory with horses asked me If I rode horses often after giving me a brief exam... When I told her yes she told me she could tell from feeling my pelvic floor muscles... I asked her if that was good to help with delivery. She said no - the muscles are very thick and strong and make it more difficult to deliver... but that my recovery should be very quick.
Do your kegals and other excersize to get your body back in shape on a regular basis and you can be fairly confident everything will get back to normal very quickly.
That being said, every woman is differant and takes a longer or maybe shorter time to heal and get back to normal.
