My boyfriend and i have been together for about 10 1/2 months now and we started having sex about 8 months ago. The problem is that it still hurts alot when he first penetrates me. I'm always very "wet" and we still use extra lubrication. It only hurts for about 30 seconds and then stops. So i was just wondering if there was any way to prevent the pain or if i'm just gonna have to deal with it?
My second question has to do with going to a gynecologist. It would be my first visit and i dont want my parents to find out because they'd kill me if they knew i was sexually active. If i go, will my parents find out? And if i go on the patch, which is the main reason i want to go, is there any way they could find out about that? I'm assuming a doctor's visit and a perscription would show up on some type of bill or something from insurance. Thanks in advance.

HI Lexi,
I'm assuming that you are 18 (hopefully, since that is a requirement on this website), if so medical information is private even from your parents if you are of age. I would discuss your concern with your doctor and hopefully he can help you figure out ways to ensure your privacy. If that is a problem, clinics like Planned Parenthood are very discreet.
As far as the pain you are experiencing. As far as the temporary pain goes, it could have to do with your relative inexperience with sex and I would guess that taking more time for foreplay would alleviate that. However, I am not a woman and so have never experienced what you are expressing. I'm sure that women here will give you some good advice.
Peace,
Scott.
The pain you are experiencing could be because you are not relaxed enough.
Lexi,
There is a thing called Hippa now, its a privacy act that your dr has to obey or he will get in major trouble. Drs or any one in their offices are not allowed to share your information because of Hippa not even to your parents. So unless their is a reason for it to show up on their insurance you have nothing to worry about. And like Tish said they dont have to know ur going to the gyno for bc or anything, just tell them you need to have your yearly check up. I hope that helps you.
