No one knows what most Christians think or what most people think of any religion.

First, define what is a Christian? That covers a lot of territory. Anyone who isn't Jewish, Muslim, Bhuddist, Shinto, or any one of hundreds of other religions could be a Christian. If you're asking if there are any Christian religions (there are many) that approve of pornograph, I doubt that very much. But, many people who are supposedly Christians do MANY things that their religion doesn't approve of.

I don't know MOST Christians, but I'm sure that some do and some don't. A person who can think for themself should be able to determine what if any harm is caused by looking at porn with their spouse, or anyone else. Whatever two consenting adults do in the privacy of their own home is their own business. The key word is "consenting".

Like the others have said, define "Christian".

After that, define "pornography" . Is it a saucy late night TV movie, or is it a blue movie with ordinary vanilla sex, or is it a hardcore blue movie with taboo or hardcore sex and fetishes?

I think that it's up to the individual guided by how they or their church interprets the bible and relates it to that particular situation. I don't recall the Bible saying that "Thou shalt not watch pornography with thy spouse", but there are definitely bits in there that, although 2000 years old, some people would say directly relate to pornography as it is today.

Born and raised in the Roman Catholic church, I can only offer this comment: You can be religious or you can be sexual, but it's pretty near impossible to be both. Figure out which is more important to you and go with it.

Boy oh boy, have you ever opened Pandora's Box ! ! !
First of all, there is only one definition of a Christian . . . one who believes in Jesus Christ as the son of God, period. There are many denominations who have all made their individual interpretations of the Bible, but they all believe in Christ.

The Roman Catholic Church may be against being sexual, but that goes along with lots of other rules the Catholic church has that now have no foundation or reason. If they are against sexuality, how in the world would there ever be more Catholics????

I am a Christian, go to church every Sunday, and I love to watch pornography with my husband. There are parts in the Bible that discuss loving your spouse and that sex is a gift for the two of you to enjoy. Pornography is only bad when it involves illegal participants, underage, children.

The Catholic church isn't against sexuality. They are against pre-marital and extra-marital sex, and they are against artificial birth control. Therefore, Catholics can be sexual, as long as it is for procreation.

The Shakers, an extinct "christian" religion WAS against sex in any way, shape or form. Therefore, they became extinct.

The great majority of human beings, Christian and non-Christian, view sexuality in a decidedly non-procreation manner. In fact, I highly doubt that every act of intercourse by a Catholic couple is hoped/intended to result in a pregnancy.

My DH and I choose not to use porn, neither together nor alone, and we are Christians. We just feel that when it takes someone or something else to turn us on enough to have sex with each other, then it's time to do some work within the marriage. And that's just our opinion.

And that is exactly how it should be. The individual choice of each couple. It is no one else's business what goes on in your bedroom, as long as it the two of you are in agreement and happy.
