This isn't another 'does size matter' question. I'm asking the ladies how many of your boyfriends and husbands have had penis size insecurity, and how many didn't. Also, to the guys, have you had or do you have, insecurity about your size?

I must admit that I have a some insecurity about my size. I am just about average, but I know that my wife has had bigger. And she admits that bigger feels better ("more filling" is how she termed it).

I'd say the majority of my lovers have at least made jokes about size, if not directly asked me about it. My current boyfriend makes off-hand comments somewhat frequently and he's a nice size. I think, like the poster before me, he gets uncomfortable at the thought that I've been with other men and he wants to think he's been the single best size of any of them. to be honest, I don't even recollect the size of prior lovers; I recollect how they use it. My response to the current beaux: "listen, my vibrator is one of the most popular on the market so it's probably a good indication of the size women want. You are the same length and thicker, so kindly shut up and get over here." Ha-ha!

The bottom line is it's only the first 2 inches that matter anyway (and circumference) so in my opinion length is truly irrelevant unless he's way _too_ long.

Nope, never have. Why sweat over something you can't change?

Thanks everyone for the responses. Looking forward to more replies so as to get a more definitive picture. It has always seemed to me that just about all guys would have at least a bit of insecurity when it comes to that, but perhaps I'm somehow mistaken about it.

I think that I had my share of insecurity when I was a teenager and learning about sex, but I haven't been particularly insecure about it for many years now. From time to time I might think that an extra inch here or there wouldn't be a bad thing, but that's not to say that I feel insecure in any way. Oh, I'm not particularly large - about average or slightly above depending who you listen to.

I don't think anyone is 100% secure all the time, I have issues about my ever-growing 34" waist, being over 40, my hair thinning, etc etc etc... but the little guy in the package? Nope, not really.

Besides, size don't matter nearly as much as one important fact: That it gets hard and stays that way until I'm ready for it to be done.

It's 50/50 for my two serious relationships. My ex joked around often about his size so I imagine he was somewhat insecure about it. My current boyfriend is slightly smaller than the ex but has never made any negative comments about his equipment. Incidentally, my current boyfriend is a better lover because he's aware that the size of his penis has nothing to do with my pleasure.

My DH never has and none of the guys I ever dated expressed concern about their size.

There's some interesting points about this on the Interracial and Interfaith boards right now. Would be worth a read.

I can solve all of life's problems by asking myself a simple question:  What would Stone Cold Steve Austin do in this particular situation?
