When was the first time you "made love" instead of just "having sex"? For a lot of people, the first time is just out of curiosity or horniness. When was the first time you had sex to merge with your partner, instead of just getting off sexually?

In my case, it was probably between my two marriages. I had a GF that I loved so much, and I felt like I couldn't get physically close enough to her. I wanted our skin cells to merge, and my ejeculation was like a gift to her, a part of me that she could carry inside of her all day. Time has proved that I married the wrong woman, but that's another story.

I'm only 18 and I haven't had that much experience yet, but I certainly did recognize makeing love vs. having sex. The first time I made love was with my second boyfriend. It was a very emotional moment and I enjoyed it so much more than sex. Like Greg pointed out, it was like we melded into each other; like we became one. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that raw animalist sex that Tish speaks of, but I prefer getting emotionally close to my boyfriend and for it to be loving and passionate.
