Massage oil

I've used massage oil during sex and have a couple of questions for those of you reading:

1. Sometimes when my DW is giving me a hand job with massage oil, I think it starts drying up and causes little bits of grain that starts feeling like sand paper. After this happens we clean it off but she isn't too excited about me sticking myself inside her after that. Anyone else have this problem?

2. The other massage oil question is that I often finger her using the massage oil but she always voices some concern about me putting this massage oil on her vagina. She is concerned with some reaction of something even though she has never got any reaction.

Any comments or suggestions?

Oils can carry bacteria into the vagina and cause infection although its probably not a really high risk. But there is still a risk. The reason this can happen is because it takes "oils" longer to wash away and get cleaned out of the vagina than it does water-soluble lubes and such. This is probably where her reaction to that is coming from. Unless the oils are getting deep into the vagina though I would think the risk was very negliable. Not enough to worry about in my opinion.

This is just a guess on your first question about massage oils and hand jobs but it would be my guess that the massage is loosening dead skin cells and because of the massage movement rolling them into balls that seem feel hard. Or it could be -- if you are using flavored massage oil -- sugar that is being compressed out of the oil back into the actual sugar form. Hopefully someone can give you more info on this!

I know that most massage oils will state if they are safe for internal use. Have you checked the labels to see if the ones you use are okay?

As Tami said, they can carry bacteria into the vagina. Some also have irritants or sugars. Placing sugars in the vagina can cause problems with infections for many females too.

I'm not sure why the oil is hardening and forming grit on your penis. It would seem to me that you would also experience discomfort from the grit. Again, she might really just be afraid to have the oil inside of her. If your oil is labeled safe for internal use, then have her read the label. That might make her more comfortable with the entire experience. Otherwise, I would look for one that is labeled safe for internal use.

I know everyone does things differently. If I were giving a guy a massage I wouldn't be using massage oil or lotion on his penis, especially if it were an erotic massage. If I used something on him it would be a lube type product. I wouldn't want massage oil inside of my vagina.

I'll have to check the label to see what it says about internal use. I dont' notice the grit sometimes during sex .... probably I'm just enjoying it and then later I will have damage to due to grit.

KY Jelly, Astroglide, Sliquid Silk... There are plenty of personal lubricants available. DW and I even have a vanilla cupcake flavored lube that she likes to use when giving me a BJ.

Oil of any kind isn't good for the vagina....it can't be "washed out" by the natural lubrication as easily as water soluable products.

Also, with all the uproar over products made in China.....containing toxic ingredients, check the label.....maybe it's made there, too. If there can be contaminants in paint, in pet food, in toothpaste, why not in massage oil?

I think you've convinced me to stay away from this when not massaging. Thanks.

Hey thanks. I've never used one of these products but I'll give it a try.
