HELP too embarrassed to ask anyone else

Hi. I am 23 years old and have currently been involved with a new guy. We "messed around" for the first time the other day. He told me that he was not circumcised. My ex wasn't either so I told him that was fine. WELL.. this guy is a little different. We had oral sex and his foreskin would not uncover the head of his penis while he was erect. I tried to pull it down some, but I didn't want to hurt him. He mentioned later, but very briefly that he has never had his foreskin rolled down like that. I was too embarrassed to ask him about it. Apparently it was very sensitive because as soon as I exposed just the tiny part of the head he came. So the next time we mess around should I try to pull it back or will it hurt him? I probably should just ask him, but hopefully someone on here can help first. Thanks!

He is the only one who can tell you what hurts him, or what doesn't. If you can DO it, then you need to be able to talk about it with him. All guys are different, even uncut guys vary from one to the other, as you've now learned.

If he has proper hygiene, he is able to pull that skin all the way back....otherwise he wouldn't be able to wash under it...and it would get nasty.

Just because he said no one had ever pulled it back like that before doesn't mean he didn't like it....only he knows what he's feeling, and how he likes it....and that's why you have to ask HIM.

That's what two people in a sexual relationship do.....they ask each other what they like and don't like. Everyone is different, and if you don't ask....you'll never know.

Welcome to the board babycosby.

I've never been with an uncircumcized guy, but I did ask a male boardie to stop by and check your post out. I know we have a couple of uncircumcized guys that frequent the board. Hopefully one of them will be by with more info for you.

As I understand it there are uncircumsized guys that can't draw the foreskin back over the head. It's too tight to allow it. I'm not circumsized myself and I've never had that problem so I can't relate too well.

From what I understand, provided he can keep everything clean underneath, it's not going a problem as far as his health goes. As far as sex goes? Well, I would consider it to be a problem myself, but if he's happy with things the way they are I'm not sure that anything needs to be done. It will work in its own way. I have heard that it can be a problem if the foreskin is retracted as, or before, he gets an erection and it can act like a rubber ring around his penis as it expands. Only dangerous if you can't slide it back forward as it can constrict the blood flow!

I believe that a Doctor can perform a very simple minor procedure and "release" the foreskin so that it can slide back. Basically, he's making an incision to make the opening in the foreskin slightly larger. I don't know much about that, only that it can be done.

Hi babycosby, and welcome to the board. When you tried to retract his foreskin, would it pull back, or were you unable to uncover the head? It's possible he has a condition known as phimosis, which prevents the foreskin from retracting. I also have this condition, and as long as it isn't causing him any pain, and as long as he practices proper hygiene it shouldn't be a problem. If the foreskin won't retract you shouldn't try and force it, or you could hurt him.
