a change in vaginal scent?

My b/f of over a year suddenly will not go down on me anymore. Other than that the sex is great but he says its "different" all of a sudden. He even tried to tell me that I am probably cheating on him. He says that my vagina smells differently and that usually signifies that a woman began having sex with another man. Is this true and what should I do either way?

I don't know for sure, but I do not think that is true. it is much more likely that you changed something in your diet, or have reached a point in your life where your chemistry is changing. I know my odor changes over my monthly cycle, and it changes when I've had to change forms of BC. I don't know exactly what to do about his accusation except sit down and have a discussion sometime when you aren't about to have sex or have just had it (changes the emotions too much I think) and you are both in a good mood. What just about everyone on this board will tell you about having a healthy relationship and sex life is to have open and honest communication, which IMO is the hardest thing to do. My fiancee and I have been together for almost 3 yrs, living together for almost 2, and we are still learning how to communicate fully with each other. I sincerely hope that you two can work through this.

You need to sit with him and tell him that you have not

No, it's not true and it sounds like your b/f has trust issues going on.

Gosh I hate to talk badly about your boyfriend but...he has some issues if he thinks you are cheating and will not go down on you but will continue to have sex with you. Whats up with that? Everyone else gave you great advice as to what could have changed your odor. Many things can especially age. Since I started shaving down there I don't even seem to have the normal odor issues during and right after period which really were never to bad. Make a GYN appointment and get a physical and tell he or she your concerns.

Hi goddessmith. I've been a way for a couple of days, but wanted to welcome you to the board.

I think the other members have already given you great advice. Having a change in scent doesn't mean you're having an affair, and it can be triggered by many, many things.

They're going good, BL. The last of the visitors leaves early this evening, so I'll be back on my regular schedule soon.

I see I have a lot of catching up to do around here, but I'm hoping to make it to the Pouter's Club by this evening. Well, actually I've been a member for some time now, perhaps *hoping* wasn't the right word, LOL.
