My daughter has convinced me to try Weight Watchers to lose weight. I have lost as much as 30 pounds one time, but I have a problem. When someone comments on my weight loss something happens to me. Maybe I am afraid to look good. With a traumatic childhood, looking good was not in my best interest. I know I need to get past that. But now I am afraid to try because I feel like I will fail.
I am 58 years old with two lovely daughters and nine terrific grandchildren. I would like to lose the weight so I can keep up with them, play with them and not get so tired. I need to lose 100 pounds.
My daughter assured me that joining this board will give the enouragement I need. She is my hero. She has been very faithful in her eating habits and has lost a lot of weight. I am very proud of her and would like her to be proud of my weight loss. I need lots of encouragment.
