New here, 2nd try with WW

Hi everybody! I just joined WW on the 26th of Dec. I joined for a short time 5 years ago after my first child (I had 4 kids in 5 years, no twins!) and stopped going, then pretty much didn't do anything through all my pregnancies. Now, my baby is 16 mos and it's time to do something for ME! I have about 60 lbs. to lose. 50 of that gained throughout pregnancies. I really want this to work and I'm going to stick with it until I'm at my goal weight. My dh is very supportive and is doing anything in his power to help me succeed. I'm excited to be on this journey, but know also that it is going to be very difficult to stop years of bad habits. I come from a family of emotional eaters so I am determined to break that cycle for my children. Anyway, hoping to find some friends and support here!

Congrats on taking a great step in shaping up. I too am doing W.W. for a second time. I just joined Dec 28th. I weighed in this Thursday, down 2.8. I am so excited to stay on track no matter what but know I need a support buddy.
Years ago I joined to shape up for my wedding for great results. I have four children and have devoted my life to them for 12 years. I am now 44 and I recently realized IT'S TIME FOR MEE!! I have 15lb by Valentines goal. I bought the pedometer to make sure I get 10,000 steps in everyday. I can honestly say the first week was easier than I thought was going to be. I am proceeding with caution because I know I have a tendency to plateau and that can trip me up sometimes.
So far when I feel slightly tempted, I just remind myself NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS THIN IS GOING TO FEEL. Have a great week!!
Sounds like we're both on a similar track! Congrats on the 2.8! I weigh in today for the first time. I switched my meeting day so had to wait another few days to weigh in. I know I'm down, just not sure if my scale will say the same as the "official" scale! I'll find out at 10am!
I haven't done the pedometer yet. I'm a SAHM... so steps are a challenge. I have 4 young ones all still at home (oldest goes to K for 1/2 day) so I don't get out much. I am getting on the treadmill at home for 30 min. once a day and for now that's good for me! I wasn't doing anything. Come spring it will be easier to get outside and go for bikerides/walks with the kids. We have a nearby park we like to ride bikes/walk to.
I'm trying once again to find healthy solutions to my "sweet tooth", although I have to say, I'm feeling better after a week and half on the program than I have felt in a long time! I've tried so many different diets and I know WW is the best way of losing weight and keeping it off. Slow but sure!
I haven't looked on this board much, are there support buddies? I'd love one too if you want to be mine! I need someone to kick me in the butt when I don't feel like sticking to the program (or like you when I plateau... that's a really tough time!)
