Hi everyone, I found your board yesterday and thought I would say hi. I have been thinking of joining WW for a while now but have always thought if I just try harder on my own I could lose the weight. I thought of joining online as well, because I am kind of a loner and am nervous joining a group and meeting new people. Well, guess what? I haven't been able to do it on my own!
I have actually lost 30 pounds in the last year due to stress from marital problems (which is now getting better). I have terrible eating habits...I went from a stress eater, to a non-eater...and have been having a hard time getting into a healthy eating pattern. For exercise, I was a regular at Curves until the past two months when everyone in my house has been sick. (I have 3 kids, ages 9, 8 and 5) I also use an exercise bike and eliptical trainer.
My counsellor said that it's time to try something new. And from everything I've heard about WW it's a good way to go to learn healthy eating. She also said something that has stuck with me for the past few days. "You can suffer the pain of changing, or continue to suffer the pain of NOT changing." It's time for me to change.
Today I am committing to change. I plan to join the local WW tonight. I have a question, what is the difference between the Core plan and Flex plan? What can I expect when I go there tonight? Thanks
