Hi everyone,
My name is Cynthia aka Ragdoll.
I am a mother of 4 children and I have been struggling with my weight now, since the birth of my 8yr old son. I have successfully lost weight several times yet unable to maintain the loss.
In the past year, I have really been serious about loosing and keeping of the weight. As of today, I'm stuck at a weight that I often waiver at and I am getting frustrated. I'm happy with my loss so far however, I have never reached my goal. I change my "Goal Date" every time I fail to meet it.
I have a birthday coming in April, it would be great if I could loose 15 lbs by then and mean it !! Any suggestions?

Welcome to the board Cynthia!
There are a great bunch of women on this board with a wealth of information. I personally don't actually attend WW meetings but I've been hanging around this board since November and it took me until about 3 weeks ago to actually figure things out enough to start to see the numbers drop on the scale. My official "get serious" date was Jan. 15 and I hope to lose 2 lbs per week between now and May first. If you do the same, you should be at or close to your goal by April 1st.
I find that the more I post messages, the more responses I get and the more people get to know me and I get to know them. I can honestly say, even though I have only just begun, I would not even be as far as I am, or even on the right track for that matter, if it weren't for this board.
I wish you well on your journey and remember... post, post, post!

My first suggestion would be to throw "goal dates" out the window.
I need the encouragement to keep going. Today is a new day, to a new start. Where can I get the Calorie count chart?

I printed it off right away. (smile) I am anxious to get started asap.
I am also curious about the "walk away the pounds" set. I live in Cananda too so, I will have to make arrangements to get the series.

I definately will not give up. As of today, I am simple going to start fresh. Today I just printed off the WW points finder from one the girls.
Also, I must stop sabotaging myself. I confess openly on line...My name is Cynthia, I love candy and I want to stop. (smile) Todays goal is to stop rewarding myself with treats. That is the real reason why I get stuck. I do really well at times and my rewards are candy. It is sometimes a meal replacement too! I'm ashamed but, I have to come clean if, I'm going to be serious.
Any ideas from anyone about eating proper meals?

hey cynthia and welcome welcome welcome...i have four children also...and love candy...so we have two huge things in common...there is a ton of support on this board...and online for that matter...on this board you can check the recipe section for lots of good recieps...also reading past posts girls put in there meal plans for the day and post different websites for lots of great information...i just bookmark everything into a computer folder so i have it all to reference...if candy makes you eat too too much you may need to stay away from it...but if you feel you can add it into your day and count the points for it than i would say do it...that is why i love weight watchers...i cn have all of my favorite things as long as i add them into my day...1 reeses peanut butter cup is 2.5 points...i usually smash it all up into a mini 4 oz golden spoon 4 oz frozen yogurt ( 1 point) and it is a delicious snack...remember to drink a ton of water so you can detox from a lot of the sugar you have been eating...
