Hi everyone,

My name is Cynthia aka Ragdoll.

I am a mother of 4 children and I have been struggling with my weight now, since the birth of my 8yr old son. I have successfully lost weight several times yet unable to maintain the loss.

In the past year, I have really been serious about loosing and keeping of the weight. As of today, I'm stuck at a weight that I often waiver at and I am getting frustrated. I'm happy with my loss so far however, I have never reached my goal. I change my "Goal Date" every time I fail to meet it.

I have a birthday coming in April, it would be great if I could loose 15 lbs by then and mean it !! Any suggestions?

Cynthia

Hello Amy

Thanks for your suggestions. I went out and bought some chicken breast with vegetables and some friuts. I don't know about a weightloss this week because, I have already fallen off the wagon.

But, as my mother taught me " If at first you don't succeed, try and try again" And I will not quit until I reach my goal. Or at least loose 10 lbs.

That's right, I'm still in the race.

Afterall, it's not how you start the race...it's how you finish. We are all in the game of weightloss here. And having this website is like having a great coach. I need this to keeping going.

Hi Cynthia, welcome to the board! Generally, it's healthy to lose up to 2lbs a week, so if you stay on track and lose every week (which I haven't done every week...lol) then it's definitely possible to meet your goal. But try not to be too strict with yourself and your goal date. For a lot of people a gain here and there is all part of the process. I've personally been doing the program for 14 weeks, and I've lost almost 15lbs (my home scale told me that this AM...yay!) so I guess I've been averaging 1 lb a week.

Anyway, glad you're here and I'll be looking for you around the board, so post often! :)

Hello Krista,

Nice to meet you. Congrats on your weightloss so far. Keep it up and you'll be right where you want to be in no time.

I've had a struggle already this week with sweets but, it is only my first serious week.
I just have to stay on track..."I can do this" and so can you!

I too, am a new comer, I needed some type of motivation and I started looking for info. on WW. I currently don't attend meetings, but, I work with 2 friends that go and share their info, freely. I use to go but, I got tied up with other things. I need to get back on track and found this website by accident but, find it very infromative. I hope that I can be of help to anyone, and find helpful friends as well. God Bless U all, and with him we can do all things, including losing weight.

Cynthia,

Where'd you go? I haven't seen you around. How's it going? Are you sticking to it? You really should post more if you're having a hard time sticking to it. Maybe people around here can give you advice.

Whatever you do, DON'T give up!

Christie.
