New to the Board, but not WW

I have been lurking here for a while and finally think I may have enough time to post regularly. I also have been struggling for a while and looking for a way to get re-motivated.

I have been doing WW for almost a year (March 11th) and have lost 56.6 pounds. I have been losing and gaining the same pound or two for the last 2 months. I hit 55 before the holidays and have hit the high of 57.6 a few weeks ago. I am very happy that I have maintained all this time without giving up. That is a huge victory I know. There has been a more off plan eating than normal in the time frame, so hopefully, that is at an end. Trips to Disney, Florida to see grandmother for Christmas, and visits from my best friend for 4 weekends have not helped, but I am thrilled that none of these have derailed me.

I typically go the gym 3-5 days a week, usually 4. Walk on the treadmill for 40 minutes. Do either an upper or lower body strength training workout for about 20 minutes and then do approx. 200 crunches. I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis, so some days the workouts just don't happen.

I love the program and have no intention of giving it up. I did South Beach for over a year, lost about 20 pounds and put 14 back on. At my highest weight (when I started SB), I was 239.8. When I started WW almost a year ago, I was 233.4. I am now 176.6. I am not sure what my final goal is, but I think it is coming soon. I see my doctor on Friday and will see what she thinks. I have gone down from a 20W to a 14 in pants, an XL to M in tops and down to a 12 in dresses and jackets.

My mini-goal is to be a size 12 by the time I need to buy some summer bottoms. I refuse to buy 14s!! Plus, I bought some awesome pants from Talbots in a 12 that I can't wait to get into. Right now, they fit, but are really snug.

Thanks for listening. This seems like a great board. Hope to be around alot.

I was a 14 in 8th grade and I started high school saying that I would be happy when I was a single digit.

Thanks Amy for the welcome. My doctor was thrilled. She said that if I could do another 20 or so that would be really fabulous.

I am adamant about the 14s. I have a trip to Disney at the beginning of May, so I need new shorts by then. I have a goal, I guess. :)

Thanks for the welcome Vanessa. It has been a challenge to get this off, but so worth it.

The kitties in this siggy are actually mine. The other one was generic. They were adorable, but not mine. :)
