should I return to WW

Hi, everyone! Although I've lost over 50 pounds with WW in the past I just can't seem to get back into it. I joined again about 6 months ago and didn't even make it to the 10% mark, I actually only lost about 2 pounds in 6 weeks. I felt it was just to expensive to keep trying. Does anyone have any suggestions on making the program work? What is working for you? Is the Core plan working or the Flex?

I know this is what I've been most successful with in the past so I'd really like to try it again but the I can't afford to go to meetings and pulling out my books to do it on my own just seems like such a big task.

Help!

Whether you return to WW or not is up to you.

Even if you choose to go a different rout get your self checked out by your MD. When I first started ww I lost really slow. Maybe 0.2 at best a week. I ended up going to my MD and he did some labs. Well it ended up being my thyroid was to slow. They placed me on medication. The weight came off faster(1-2# a week) but I will never be a fast weight loss person bc of it. Good Luck

thanks Amy

I have been to see my doctor, he says my thyroid is fine but he is checking me for adrenal fatigue and says I am a little anemic. This may be why I,m so tired all the time and not in the mood to exercise which I used to do all the time. I am trying hard to get motivated despite not having much energy. Thanks again for the encouragement.

thanks, I was thinking about trying on-line, it might fit better into my schedule. I'm from a small town and the only meeting around here are at suppertime on tuesday and that just doesn't work for me, the price is better too. Thanks for the suggestion!

I'm having a real hard time getting motivated this time because the weight just wasn't coming off last time no matter how hard I tried, but I guess as long as I'm still trying I still haven't failed, and it has worked before and can again.

Welcome! We are here for you to motivate/ support you. If you do decide to do it online, use this board as your meeting!

How are things going for you since you first posted?

Things are going better, thanks.

I decided to do it on-line since I can check in whenever I have a minute and the price is much better. The meetings around here weren't all that great, I'm sure keeping in touch with all of you will be much better in the end.

Are those all your children? If so, wow, how do you get the time to eat right and exercise? I work full time as a preschool director but I don,t have any children and I can barely find time for myself. How do you do it, I am impressed!
