So, what are you reading this week?
I'm still reading Angels & Demons by Dan Brown.
I'm still reading Prayers For Sale by Sandra Dallas and I'm enjoying it. The next
Determined to finish Thin Air by Rachel Caine this week. Still in the beginning of Small Favor by Jim Butcher.
Now that I'm done Angels & Demons, I'm going to go back to my historical fiction books and read The Queen's Fool by Philippa Gregory.
Finished Home Safe, by Elizabeth Berg. Now I'm finishing up Loving Frank, by Nancy Horan. Next up, The House
I finished Breaking Dawn today (I read the entire Twilight series in just over two weeks). I really enjoyed this series!!! I had to struggle with myself to put the darn books down in order to get some work done. LOL
I also read The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch this past week. Wow! I would highly suggest this one if you haven't already read it. I figured it would be very sad and sentimental, and it is sad, BUT this guy is FUNNY!!! It ended up being a good balance of emotions AND it had substance. I would also recommend his actual lecture (it is on YouTube). Again, it has substance, but it is still funny.
I picked up Corked by Cabernet by Michele Scott today (right after finishing Breaking Dawn). I've enjoyed this series, so I'm expecting the same.
Today I'm reading Fast Ships, Black Sails, an anthology of short stories about pirates of the past, present & future which includes writers Naomi Novik, Sarah Monette, Kage Baker, Carrie Vaughn, Garth Nix and others. Enjoying it so far. It's edited by Ann & Jeff VenderMeer.
Yesterday I read Charlaine Harris' newest Sookie Stackhouse book Dead and Gone.
The day before that I finished the excellent short time travel novel The Man Who Folded Himself by David Gerrold.
On 5/14 I finished Princep's Fury by Jim Butcher from his Codex Alera series. It took me over 2 weeks to read this terrific novel.
