Finished Sarah's Key (totally heartbreaking, but very good!). Now I'm reading Defenders of the Faith: Charles V, Suleyman the Magnificent, and the Battle for Europe, 1520-1536. So far it's pretty interesting, but I just got started.
In my TBR pile from the library I have Dead and Gone (9th book in the Sookie Stackhouse series), Summer People, The Russian Concubine, Best Friends, Shelter Me, and I Am Murdered: George Wythe, Thomas Jefferson, and the Killing That Shocked a New Nation. I know there'll be a few more coming in and I have to be quick reading them because my best friend is insisting we read the Harry Potter books together.
Hi Ellen, can I intrude from the LayBugs board? I've been lurking for a couple of weeks and your board looks really interesting. Books are always part of my life and reading is everyday and most of the day, to be honest.
I just finished The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde....really a different book....and loved it.....First in a series...so will request the others one at a time....Now reading a biography of Tom Hanks....Hugs, Ruth
