Anyone plan to read this book?

Ok I'll admit I loved " The Time Traveler's Wife", likely will not see the movie but I'm interested to see how this authors ( Audrey Niffenegger) newest book is. I've reserved it at my library and it does sound intriquing.....anyone else thinking they will or won't give this book a try? I'm curious to read all your thoughts. Oh yes here is the book I'm talking about and a short summary....

Her Fearful Symmetry

Julia and Valentina Poole are normal American teenagers — normal, at least, for identical “mirror” twins who have no interest in college or jobs or possibly anything outside their cozy suburban home. But everything changes when they receive notice that an aunt whom they didn’t know existed has died and left them her amazing flat in a building by Highgate Cemetery in London. They feel that at last their own lives can begin … but they have no idea that they’ve been summoned into a tangle of fraying lives, from the OCD-suffering crossword setter who lives above them to their aunt’s mysterious and elusive lover who lives below them, and even to their aunt herself, who never got over her estrangement from the mother of the girls — her own twin — and who can’t even seem to quite leave her flat….

I still have Time Traveler's Wife on my TBR stack. It gets to the top and then I either have a library book that I need to read first or another book catches my attention. I have the new book on reserve.

The trailer for the movie looked good and I wanted to read the book before seeing it but I've heard 2 reviews and neither one liked the movie- "confusing because the story is too complicated to do effectively" and "the actors had zero chemistry".

Hi Sandra!

I did read THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE and loved it. I don't see how the movie can be as good as the book. I have the feeling it's going to be like CLAN OF THE CAVE BEAR. The only reason I knew what was going on in the movie was because I had already read the book. I spent the entire movie explaining to DH what was happening and why.

I've added HER FEARFUL SYMMETRY to my TBR mountain (Yes, it is still a mountain.). It sounds like a really good story. I'll start keeping my eyes peeled for it at the library, which I plan to visit tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up on this one!
