I've read The Help, Finger Lickin' Fifteen, and Shanghai Girls. I enjoyed all of them. I have Fire and Ice, Swimsuit and The Girl Who Played With Fire all on reserve at the library.

Did you enjoy " Shanghai Girls" Kathie? I was planning to read it but haven't gotten to it yet. There are definitely lots of mixed reviews about it. I have enjoyed other books of hers though.
I have also read The Help, Finger Lickin Fifeteen and my husband read Swimsuit and really enjoyed it.

Thanks Ruth.....I just got an email notification that I have 7 books waiting for me at the library. Yikes I'm going to be busy reading over the next couple of weeks.

I have read Dead and Gone by Charlaine Harris and The Host by Meyer.
Each are good, but Dead and Gone is #10 or something in a series that begins with Dead Until Dark, upon which the HBO tv show "True Blood" is loosely based.
The Host is very different from the Twilight series.
I am interested in reading The Help.

I did enjoy Shanghai Girls. I don't think that it will be on my top 10 for the year, but it is worth reading.
