Wow....can you believe we are heading into the last days of August and September is just a few days away. This summer has flown. Anyway let us know what you are reading this week and I would also love to know if there is any book that might be coming out soon that you are dying to read?

Hi Sandra!

I'm reading Drawing in the Dust, by Zoe Klein. I'm not too far in to it, but I have to hustle because a bunch of holds came in from the library at once. Of course, I've been waiting quite a while for those.

I'm looking forward to getting Cleopatra's Daughter, by Michelle Moran. It looks like it's going to be really entertaining. Especially since it's about a figure that no one really knows about.

I'm just about finished Twenty Wishes and I'm also reading Songs For The Missing by Stewart O'Nan. This week I have Home Repair by Liz Rosenberg from the library to read and I'll probably read The Day The Falls Stood Still by Cathy Marie Buchanan or The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

I'm reading The Red Tree by Caitlin R. Kiernan. I was looking at the new book shelves at the library and this one practically jumped into my hands! I read the back cover, put it back on the shelf and picked it back up again. I don't usually get anything that isn't on my lists. I've only read the first chapter so far, so I can't say if it's good or not.

I've got a romance for next, so wouldn't you know the book that has just come in at the library is another romance. It's been forever since I've read 2 of those in a row. Hope I can handle it! LOL!!!

I just read in the Parade magazine which comes with our Sunday paper, Jean Auel is almost finished with her last book in the Earth Children series. I've only been waiting for about 10 years it seems like, so I'm excited by that news. I'll never get into another series by her until the whole series is written. I loved all of the Earth Children books, but it was so long in between books! The summer after the last title is released, I plan to read the whole series at once. It has just been so long. I hope to read the whole Harry Potter series next summer, just for the fun of it.

Other books I'm anxious to read are #14 and 15 of the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich.

Gotta go help DH. Back Soon!
