My thoughts? Unless you're mature enough to deal with the problems, and goods of the outcomes and the r'ship, I'd say, DO NOT get involved.

And if you do, set some rules, and make sure you BOTH want the same thing in regards to how to handle things at home, at the workplace.

Where I work, I know of about 8 couples who have married. Within a year or two, ONE of them, usually leaves the company. One couple is still here, married, in the same dept, work with each other, but they don't act like a couple at work (which I like, cuz it can be distracting).

I married my xh....who worked at the same company. We set rules. We followed them. Worked otu for us (the office romance, NOT the marriage. lol).

After my experience, mostly cuz I was immature, I'd say don't do it unless you know for a fact you can have a mature r'ship, and not get all "caught up in the love" bit. Mature, meaning, you know where the lines are to be drawn, and you LIVE THEM.

I agree with Cher 100%.

Unfortuanly at my office there are only 5 guys and they are all married. And the other one is only 20 yrs old and he's really imature. So I don't have to worry about that problem.

But I wish a hottie would come and work here that was around my age cause it doesn't hurt to have some "eye candy" LOL!!!!!!!

I'm tired of looking at these women and older men all day. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I think if two people are mature and know how to be professional, I see nothing wrong with meeting and dating someone from work.
Sometimes people can be so discreet, you don't even know they are involved.
Other times, there's someone who is so immature and cannot handle being professionally ignored or keeping their relationship private that they later regret it and then say don't do it, it never works.
Not everyone's bad experience is a reflection of how things will turn out for the next person. It all depends on the individuals involved.
