Here's the deal : I currently live in southern France where I study, but i'm from Geneva, switzerland (a 280 miles distance).
Everytime I go back, i hang out with my childhood friends of course, and their friends from college. That's how i met this wonderful guy. The first time I saw him 6 months ago, i instantly liked him. By the second time, we were flirting.
We have this obvious chemistry, he always makes me laugh and finds ways to compliment me. I saw him about 5 more times (i can go back usually a weekend a month), including my surprise birthday party which he helped planned and bought me a sweet gift.
In a week i'm going back 10 days for the holidays, and i am so dying to kiss him !! but the problem is that technically i don't know him that much, and i'm not sure what it could lead to.
Has anyone ever started long-distance "dating" with someone they were still getting to know? He's really not the player kind, and from what my friends told me, i know he's looking for a serious relationship.
What do you think about my situation ?

"Chemistry Vs. Long Distance Commuting" is an issue Pianoguy can relate to. PG's 2nd wife was originally from the Philippines and absolutely ravishing. Unfortunately, she was also unfaithful which eventually led to a divorce after 15 months of marriage!!!
Why not "go with the flow" during your 10-day 'close encounter' with him? If you EXPECT NOTHING...you may (or may not) be surprised by the outcome.
Just don't pick out your wedding trousseau yet....okay?
Good Luck!
