I recently worked for a few weeks with "temporary" boss. He sat too close too me, insisted on my attention, liked full eye contact, seemed to like talking to me, but towards the last two days working together, got supervisory.
I did try and ask him to lunch but then said i was joking before he could answer
since then, we haven't communicated but about work things via email.
i really liked him, but feel really embarrased about our strange interaction. i don't know whether he dislikes me or likes me or what?
what do you think

Simple answer from PG:

Your "temporary boss" realized that his first responsibility was to the company the two of you were working for. Because you were a 'newbie'---your presence got his attention. Then he realized that his focus should be on his job...and not the attractive female sitting next to him!

Let this one go....UNLESS he makes the effort to contact you after the 'workday' is over!
