How often do you use the word *love*?
Do you use it for anything and everything, or reserve its use for referring to the love you have for other people? Do you ever think about how it sounds, if you say you *love* in reference to an object, a particular kind of food, a feeling, etc? Do you ever feel that it is overused, and thus loses its special sense of description of the most profound of human sentiments?
What about the word *hate*? Same thing, do you use it frequently, to describe feelings of very strong aversion to something, like a particular food, an object, a situation? Again, is it overused? Do you use it to express your feeling towards another person, or do you find it to be far too strong, and prefer instead words such as *detest*, *dislike*, or phrases such as *can't stand...* ? Do you ever stop and think twice before saying it?

I think the original author has far too much time on their hands ;-)
Yeah, I love curries and I love a good laugh. But in no way does this lessen the love I feel or express for my family.
I hate runny yolks and intolerance. But that does not lessen my hatred for my psycho ex-brother in law.
