Love in the office?

Hi,
I'm 35 years old and not yet married, and I would like to ask you all for some advice.
In my project group at work, there's a girl in her late 20's who I'm very interested in. But I'm afraid that making a move will disrupt my professional relations with her. I'm especially afraid of the awkwardness that would ensue if she rejects me, since I see her every day. Should I still go after her though?
I posted a poll on this at pollground.com - please answer it when you have the chance.
Thanks!
Emmanuel

Emmanuel...
PG's question to you:
"Is there a policy at your workplace connected with employees dating one another?"
Some businesses discourage the practice because they feel that dating shows favoritism, or gives the male or female half of a couple "permission to goof off!"
That's where you need to begin.
Now if there's no restrictions and the 2 of you can maintain a professional demeanor at the workplace....even though you might have some serious feelings for each other after work is over....the worst thing you can do is ask her out for lunch?
If you get a rejection....don't go any further. But if she accepts your invitation, you both can discuss if there's any possibility of A REAL DATE sometime in the future?
