Hi everyone,

Not that Nietzsche gets everything right (and granted he did go crazy...), but I ran across this quote and wonder what you all think...

I know marriages that have withstood exceptions like ours (EMAs) and I know marriages that the EMA was the catalyst for the split. Which proves to me what *I* have said for years and years...an EMA is not, usually, the problem. It's simply a symptom. A marriage needs to attack the underlying cause to find a lasting fix, not simply smooth over the indiscretion.

Well, Alameda, I think there are exceptions in everything.

In a marriage, it depends on what that exception is, imho.
