Hey you all!!!

I wanted to share something with you and see what everyone has to say about it.I've read and heard so many things about "signs"...is it true,do you think they exsist, how do you know when they are slapping you right in the face??This is why i ask....

OM and i met online, fell inlove and have been seeing eachother for almost 2 years. We have the exact same birthdays,(month and day),both our daughters have the same name, both our mothers have the same name, his son and my brother have the same name, and i have a cousin that has his exact name...whew!!!!

What does everyone think of that?Just plain ol' coincidence(sp?) or what????

I am a spiritual person, so this is not about me being cynical. But I do believe that signs like that are just coincidences and that we can FIND coincidences in ANYTHING if we have enough creativity. People always tell me I have a flair for storytelling because I am good at picking up the little coincidences and connections in things. It's like doing "Where's Waldo" in life's little circumstances. I think the signs say that you are creative and analytical more than anything else.

I have to agree with Yoga on this. Just some of life's flukey occurrences. Either that or there's a disturbance in the Matrix. lol!

Solo,

I think it is just coincidence, but there are

a lot of them, I agree.

Like Yoga, I like stories too. Of course, well

written literature is not just a compendium of

facts. There is plot, maybe sub-plot, imagery,

metaphor, symbolism, etc. all designed to give

the story a deeper meaning.

I like to live life thinking that if it were a

story, it would be great literature. There would

be these same literary techniques played out day

to day in my life. I call it living metaphorically.

So I look for things in everyday events. What would

this event mean, or that event, if this were all a

great story designed to teach me something. Sometimes

I find things that fit together so perfectly it scares

me. Kind of like you found. Sometimes life is just a

bad issue of Mad Magazine.

If you are spiritually inclined, you may see biblical

references in your life. I mostly see a comedy. I

think Mel Brooks wrote most of the script. But thank

goodness, it might have been a Russian tragedy!

Hi solost...

I think I tend to agree with everyone else... just coincidences... even if they are many.

I mean take MM and I... he is 36... I'm 34... two years difference... however our partners are the same age as us. We both have been married 9 years... his son was born the year he turned 30... my son was born the year I turned 30... his daughter is 3 yrs and 3 months younger than his son... my daughter is 3 yrs and 3 months younger than my son. There is about 2 years difference between our childrens births... same difference as MM and I. It's funny... but it really doesn't mean much... all just coincidences.

luv and hugs

I don't believe in signs either, but there are coincidences, for example, both my exH and my H are left handed, (and so is my friend), how weird is that? And my anniversary in my first m was 7-11, my anniversary now 11-7. How about this, my exSM shared the same birthday as my mom and I looked alot like my exSM's late W, and he has an S and 2 D's, so do I. There are alot of coincidences in life, we can find them any where we really look, I don't believe that they mean anything.

Just my 2 cents. :)

My exMM and I had the same...get this...NAME! And his wife's name was a similar, in fact, different by only a couple of letters! But what did that mean? I mean, ultimately, what difference does it make?

I can think of a lot of coincidences between exMM and his wife too: They were both very fat as children. They both had crazy mothers. They were from the same city but met in a different country when traveling.

Oh, and as between exMM and my H, they both wear their watches on their right hand. How freaky is THAT??

And my H and exMM's wife have...the SAME BIRTHDAY!!! OY!!!

wink, wink.
