I have been good friends with MM for over 7 years. We started a relationship about 6 months ago. Since we are both in terrible marriages it isn't to hard to see eachother. We talk on the phone 2 to 3 times a day for hours. He leaves me the sweetest messages also. We see eachother almost everyday because of our children. We also sneak away almost once a week and get nights together about once a month. You get the point. We spend alot of time together. What I don't get is that he has not yet said the "L" word. I swear I would NEVER say it first. I've never mentioned anything about it. But sometimes we are so intimate that it almost seems so natural. Why would he just not say it? I would be shocked if he didn't loveme. We are just SO close. What could be up? Thanks. He ays he can't live without me!

Got to agree with Sal on this one... in fact MM quite often tells me actions speak louder than words... and I would often wonder why he would say it so much.

It may be very hard for him to say those words. While I'm still in the honeymoon stage of my EMA, and my feelings may change later. I honestly can say it would be very hard for me to hear my MM say "I love you". I care for MM. When and if the time comes when I do fall in love with him, I wouldn't have a problem saying "I love you" to him, but to hear those words from his mouth would be to much for me.

He may be saying "I love you" through his actions. Isn't that nicer then saying "I love you", but acting like he doesn't care.

This is one of those things we make ourselves crazy over.
