Hi Sal,

My MM usually does not turn his phone off... main reason being that usually when he visits... he takes time off work... but he of course doesn't tell his wife that... so he diverts his work phone to his mobile.

Mine does shut off his cell phone, and I really appreciate it. To me, it tell me he wants our time together not being interrupted by anything.

I am a MM and when I am with my OW who is also a MW we always make sure I can be reached by both my home phone and cell if we are at my place and when we are on a road trip the cell. We leave town and travel ever now and then so we can do lunch together where we are not known.

The main reason I keep the phone contact open is I don’t want to have to explain a time frame I was being searched for and was not found. it is also nice to know if the W is coming home from work early or a sick child in school needs your attention.

Sure we do get a few moments stolen from my OW and myself from time to time BUT the safety of an OMG were busted far out ways the lost minutes.

Let me just say being unreachable quickly leads to suspicion...

My OM puts his phone on quiet and I shut mine off when we're in a hotel room for hours together. If his phone beeps he's right on top of it though... LOL - Last week he got up right during the middle of everything to see who was calling... but you all know my OM has mixed up ways! LOL

I shut mine off and if DH calls while it's off I have come up with the excuse that my battery slid off the back of my phone in my purse (which has happened before) - but that excuse will only work ONE TIME...My DH doesnt call me much but I always answer my phone if he calls, OM ignores calls from his fiance` unless she calls more than once and doesnt leave a message as to what she wants...then he answers her second call...

Like someone else said - it's important to be reachable incase of emergencies and my OM has a DD and if she needs him he has to be reachable and I respect that 110%!

GOOD MORNING ALL YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!! i would say - goddesses, but there appear to be gods here too!

my MM does not ever turn off his cell, but it is on vibrate. he has to be available at all times for both work and W, however, in the last year or so, MM has left the cell/pager outside the bedroom during our activities and waits until after the cuddling is over to check his cell. then he make return calls, if necessary.

my cell is on, but in my purse and i only check it after we are leaving wherever. my cell doesn't ring very much in the morning unless it's one of my children with an "emergency" - not really, but seems so to them!

take care,

gurl
