Cell Phone HELL!!

What do you do with your cell phone when you are with OM/OW?? I generally leave mine in my car when I leave with OM or try to have an excuse to have it off. But if during that time H calls, it becomes this huge deal. Business acquaintances and friends don't care, but H is who I worry about the most. How do you expalin your "unexpected" absence from the cell phone. It was created to make life easier, but I think they're more of a pain in the *ss. LOL

Well ok, so I was in the bathroom...for 5 HOURS?? I don't answer the phone around OM because generally we are in the car, in a hotel or at his house. I don't want to get into that "conversation" with H...you know the one...how much do you love me honey, when I'm sitting next to OM. Generally, I use the excuse that I was shopping...or if I take a long lunch that I forgot it on my desk, or I wanted to save the battery. I do have excuses, but last Friday night was a close call. Just wondered what other people did. So in general, people answer in front of OM/OW. I don't want to risk that, I guess.

I have the same problem with my H. The first time ever that I was at MM's house, my H called (but I'd left the cell phone in my car). He was absolutely irate that I didn't answer my phone. I told him that's why we have voice mail and that I'd forgotten to get my phone out of the car. He thought I was at the doctor with my mother. Even though my H doesn't suspect anything about me and MM, he is adamant that I be at his beck and call. I used to forget my cell phone tons of times way before MM even was in the picture...I can be forgetful, but it can be a bothersome thing. (BTW, this is yet another reason why H and I are getting divorced...though H doesn't know it yet.)

Well, I've used the excuse of at the gym, shopping (has no signal in the mall) or didn't realize it was off. One time he kept asking me so I told him that I was on my knees giving my lover a BJ and I couldn't quit reach it without losing my rhythm. He hasn’t ask since then:) NMR

Kitty, you can always say it wasn't charged or on. That way you won't get into problems if he tries to "peek" at your incoming call list. :)

When MM and I are together we both leave our cell phones on, and answer them when they ring, that way there are no questions asked about why we didn't answer...At first it was ackward if his W or my H called, I guess its just something we are used to now

Cell phones are your best friend in an “A”, I get lots of calls when I am with my “Partner N Crime” once we were at dinner at our favorite Japanese restaurant out of town for lunch and I get a call from the DW. She asks where are you at, what is all the noise? I leaned out from the table and told her I was at Lowes watching a demo. So OK the guy was showing us how to cook RIGHT?

The OW and I keep our phones on so we can be in contact that way no sneak ups on us. Also they are handy to send the DW/DH on a quest if they are headed home and you need some extra time or just want to check up on them.

So keep the phone on BUT never answer out of breath… HEHEHE…

Hi JF, I'm glad you got a chuckle out of it. You should have seen my H's face when I said it. That will teach him to doubt me:):) NMR
