What do you do to distract yourself?...

I mentioned in another thread that we all have our ways to distract or pamper ourself when we need to sit on our hands and not phone/text/IM our AP (for whatever reason). Sometimes it's self imposed times of N/C, sometimes they are out of touch for whatever reason. Maybe if we share ideas we can get good ideas from each other?
I mentioned retail therapy, and if you have enough money, that can work! If you don't have much money, it can STILL work. Nothing cheers me up more than a new lipstick. Don't know why, but I have a LOT of lipstick because of it. I also like to browse through thrift shops. If you live in a rich area (Palm Beach etc.) you can find designer stuff for a small price! An added advantage is that you have to sift through stuff, and know what's good. Takes more time, all the better.
Pampering yourself also does wonders. Give yourself a facial, a pedicure, whatever strikes your fancy. Has the added benefit of saving you money.
Are you an animal lover? I like to browse through the humane society and talk to the kitties. It's sad, seeing them stuck in their little cages, but I feel like I'm brightening their day. If I had the time I would volunteer for an animal group - a no kill shelter - I couldn't stand knowing for sure that the healthy kitty I was petting was slated for death. I'd want to take them all home and be the "crazy cat lady" LOL!
Any other ideas out there?

You've got a lot of choices. If getting out of bed in the morning is a chore and you're not smiling on a regular basis, try another choice. ~Steven D. Woodhull

Distraction is so important!
otherwise I start to go a little crazy thinking about my AP.
Definitely spending time with friends. That's probably number 1! Treating myself to a haircut, facial, retail therapy, all that!
Watching movies. Jogging. Spending time with my b/f. Taking trips, going camping.
In general just really living my life away from my AP.
