All right, ladies...OK, the boys can read too, but they may or may not see the humor/sweetness in it:
This is for all the squirrel suffering and to answer THE question us girls want to know. Do the guys suffer from squirrels, too? It appears the answer is "YES!"
AP and I are in such a routine, and keep track of each other just for the sake of letting the other know we're alive and well...we discussed a LONG time ago how I don't need a long, drawn out convo and will not try to pull him into one when I KNOW he's got other things he needs to be attending to -- since the bulk of our comm is during the day, that is namely his job. That said...we stay in touch, but have no trouble telling the other "can't talk right now but know I'm thinkin' about you..."
So, this a.m. he txts his usual "Good morning" and I said it back...or so I thought. Two hours later he's txting again...am I ok? Didn't answer his GM txt... Somehow my txt didn't send and went to drafts on my phone...Anyway...he admitted to being a bit panicky and thinking the worst... Silly, but I thought it was SWEET that he was worried about my well-being. He was sittin' on his hands not wanting to "bug" me before I'd had a chance to txt back, even though I rarely wait that long to reply.
Hee..hee...he now FULLY understands "squirrels"...not that he lets them take me over, but at least he now knows what I was talking about!

Absolutely Kimber - guys do get squirrels! I've always know that. But they get them more legitimately than we do - not when they detect a "tone" in our e-mails or when we don't answer within an hour LOL. They get them when there is probably good reason to worry a little.
I'm like that now too. I only get them if things are really kinda weird. I like it this way, because I get them so rarely now!
You've got a lot of choices. If getting out of bed in the morning is a chore and you're not smiling on a regular basis, try another choice. ~Steven D. Woodhull
