does men all hate long wordy email from their girlfriend or s/o's?
I met this guy on vacation and he is from a different country, He behaved like a total keeper and real gentle and caring for the time we've been together (he does things such as massages my feet, etc), and he said he would like to give up everything what he has in his own country to come to States to be with me, so that right now I'm working on his visa processing to come to States.
We email each other almost everyday, mostly about visa processing, that's priority now, we always discuss this before getting into saying "hello, how are you? miss you" stuff.
two days ago, I was really bored and I typed a long email about how my life and how my days goes, what I do, etc. plus a few other emails related to visa processing.
He hasn't responded, maybe it's just because it's holiday? or could that be English isn't his first language, and he needs a little time to absorb (maybe need help from a dictionary) the content of my long email? He usually emails often but his email is never long. I know men don't like write long letters and but do they gets turned off seeing their girlfriend's long emails? he could feel I nag like his mother and trying to run away? maybe he thinks,"well, if she's this wordy in email, she must be nagging nonstop when I being with her everyday!"...is that right?
I now kind of regret sending out that long email. I should really keep things short and sweet:( but is it too late or what could I do to make situation better?

Welcome to the board gal_sherry,
This year while on vacation, I too met a guy from another country.
Thank you for your info. Well, my guy prefers email than telephone because acutally his English writing is better than speaking. He can also use a dictionary for email and harder to use dictionary for phone conversation:)
Visa processing was ok, he is applying for student visa to study in USA and we will be in the same school with the same teacher/professor. so actually most things in my long email is about my days at school and how much I love my school, how nice are the teachers, friends here, etc. I talked a lot of how nice people here so that to make sure he feels comfortable relocating.
it also happened that I have a good friend who also came from a different country and did the visa documents, so I forwarded that friends' visa papers to him as an example to follow, and I also gave instructions how to process papers. so it's long and maybe he does need sometime to comprehend the content of email:)
