I am 24 and in my first serious relationship ever (my bf is 32). I have dated other guys, and thought that I loved them, but it was more infatuation...so I'm new to this whole LOVE thing. In my previous relationships I think SOME of them failed, because I had a "Whatever" attitude- if a guy was a jerk to me, I usually let it slide, and went out and did my own thing. I read the book "Why Men Love Bitches", and I totally agreed with it. I even lectured friends about nagging their bfs. At the beginning of my current relationship I still had that same attitude, and my bf is great and very respectful so we never really had any issues. We are

Welcome to the board shnorkles,

Try finding ways to help your relax. Perhaps if you aren't stressed you won't find youself nagging so much. Or if you feel like nagging than count to 10 and take some deep breathes and try to keep yourself from doing it.

Thanks for your response- I usually nag about small things that he thinks are unreasonable... we work together so I like to follow him when we drive

Ok, comments about his driving are not going to win you points with him. He probably sees it more than nagging, he probably feels you are very critical of him.
