Welcome to the board pikzistx,

Since HIS friend is talking to you, what's HIS friend saying to him?

Feelings are not cast in stone and I think it's normal that both of you may have changed your mind about the topic of marriage.

Do the mature thing and ask your boyfriend what he wants, not his friend. This isn't high school

Please don't talk to or stay with anyone that would threaten to kill you.

Was not my boyfriend who threatened to kill me. It was his brother who did that when he found out my bf was in jail

I'm sorry but IMO.. I think you need to get out of this relationship and work on yourself, and what is best for you and your children. Respect and love yourself, until you do no one else will and your children learn from the examples you set.

1. You have both been divorced 3 times. (not to say can't work but chances are not good)
2. He threatens to leave every time things get rocky. (marriage will not change this)
3. He was in jail (what for?) and HIS brother threatened to Kill you. (you should have filed a report and had him arrested.)

Why would you want to subject yourself, but more importantly, the kids to this? You should want better for your children. This is one messed up situation. The children are the ones that are going to pay the highest price.

Ok, sorry I missed that. You want someone that threatens to kill you to be your future brother-in-law?
