Kind of OT but not really. If you weren't feeling well (I think she described it snotnose lol), were feeling tired and crabby, had had visitors for the past couple of weeks, had had the washing machine die on you a couple of months ago, and a few more things (internet dying on you, for example)...

... what would you like to receive as a care package?

It can't be food. It has to be something I can order online. No cut flowers either. Preferably no plants because they live part-time elsewhere.

Any ideas?

She has had it tough lately! Hmm.... books, CDs, scented candles, DVD, Puffs tissues (just love them), does she do anything creative like cross stitch?, something to make her laugh, seashells.

What are Puffs tissues?

Nope, she's not the knitting or cross stitching type of granny. She drives like Fangio, and their second house is in the Caribbean so she already has lots of sea shells... Oh and her daughter is giving her a second grandchild any time soon, too. I told you she has everything lol!

They are tissues with aloe in them.

How about bath salts/oils, essential oils, books, music cd's, lotions, nice photo albums for grandkid's pictures.

I'm going to have to look for those tissues - didn't even know they existed.

Hmm... scrapbook kit sounds good. She did tell me that she had started doing scrapbooks. Perfect! I have item no 1.

Thanks for the idea :-)

I love the t-shirt idea! And the photo album one, too. I'll try to find a nice small one that they can take with them when they are at the other house. They probably already have one, but grandparents can't have enough photos of their grandchildren, right?

Grandma is quite the shutterbug, too.

Thanks, Ludam!

I would love a new taillight assembly for the left rear end of my car.

If she likes to read, a couple of her favorite kind of books would help or maybe a whole pile of magazines to dive into?

Sorry about the mixup before -- you can cancel the taillight assembly.

Molly, I absolutely loved your post! I wouldn't want them to remove it. Sounds like you need a care package too! LOL
