My diet today has consisted of chocolate slim fast, half a sandwich, cheetohs, hamburger helper and a turkey burger.

I heard ya - my weakness right now is the French Silk Pie Blizzard at Dairy Queen. Ugh... I'm such a sucker for sweets!

Have you ever had the chocolate brownie one with chocolate ice cream, chocolate brownies, and chocolate fudge?

I would kill for a burger right now. I am on Weight Watchers at the moment trying to lose the weight that I have put on over the past year. I have found very good low fat and low calorie ice cream, but there ain't no substitute for a burger. On the bright side, I lost 8 pounds in the first 4 weeks which is a goodly way to my goal. So I just keep telling myself that it's worth it...

Last night, on my way home, I thought: "I'm going to eat healthy tonight, no fast food." So, I stop, pick up some asparagus, cabbage and a chicken. I steamed the asparagus, boiled the cabbage and roasted the chicken with some rosemary. I had a small portion of each which I was quite proud of until, 10 PM rolled around and I proceeded to devour a huge bowl of Baskin Robin's mint chocolate chip ice cream!!

no I've not tried that one - but YUMMMM CHOCOLATE!!!! :D

well I don't know where you are exactly - but as far as I know there are only two DQs in our vicinity. Platte City (the first exit) and North Kansas City. I frequent the NKC location but I use to work in Platte City (pre-French Silk days).

Must move on to another topic or I'll be making a noon DQ trip! :p

oh my goodness that is HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! but so true! That stuff is NOT filling! :( How do they expect us to eat that rabbit food and NOT still be hungry? :(

I wouldn't eat half of the meal you prepared to begin with - but even if I did - I'd end up in the kitchen looking for some filling bread or cookies or something BAD!

Eh... try again another night - maybe it will get easier? :-S

I know what you mean about the "what does it matter" mode. I gained most of the weight when I was on crutches for months this winter. It was horrible. But my weight has very little effect on my dating life and I just had trouble getting the motivation. But the truth is that I feel better about myself when I am at my ideal weight so I finally just decided to do it.

I too have little willpower until I make a decision then I tend to stick with it. At least when it comes to things like diet end exercise. If I could only be that way about smoking...
