I just got out of a 3 year relationship with the person I was sure I was going to marry (because he had already asked my mom's permission and everything). I started dating him less than 3 months after I turned 16 and I've never dated before. I am sooooooo nervous and it's really scary! Is this stupid?

georgiagirl04...

Pianoguy doesn't think you're stupid.....probably just a little nervous?

If your (former) fiancee was your FIRST TRUE LOVE....you've already got a fixed impression (in your head) when it comes to anybody new entering your life.

So keep this in mind....PLEASE????

Don't make comparisons!

Just ask yourself whether you feel comfortable, safe and are interested enough to BEGIN A FRIENDSHIP WITH ANY NEW GENTLEMAN WHO TAKES A FANCY TO YOU?

If any 'other stuff; is meant to happen.....IT WILL!

Best wishes and warm thoughts,

Pianoguy

Are you stupid? No, not at all. Are you ready to go into another relationship? If not, do not rush yourself, that will only lead to trouble. But, if you are ready, my advice would be to take it slow, don't rush into anything, that as well will lead to trouble. Give yourself enough time to figure out what you want. You come first.
