What I love about men

In the interest of being thankful this holiday season, and in spite of our collective dating woes, I thought it might be nice to show a little appreciation for the men in our lives (whether they be boyfriends, brothers, fathers, sons, friends, etc.) I personally don't view men as adversaries or enemies. I love 'em and wouldn't want to live in a world without 'em.
So, I'll start the list of "What I Love About Men" and you all can add to it as you like...
(Hoping this list stays positive, as it is intended)
* They get excited about their big boy toys - their new motorcycles, skis, plasma-screen TV, surround sound system...
* After a big argument with a good guy friend, men are truly able to forgive and forget and then go out for a beer
* Their strength, both physical and emotional
* The way they smell after they shave (mmmm...)
* Warm hands and feet all the time
* They can make the most amazing sound effects for any occasion
* Of course, they can open those impossible-to-crack jars in the kitchen and I love the look of pride they get after they've helped out a "damsel in distress" (although, I probably could have opened the jar myself - that look is too priceless to pass up)
* They know all sorts of insignificant details about their passion in life -- every baseball stat known to humanity, the exact torque on a power tool, every lyric to every U2 song...
* Nothing beats a bear hug from a man when you're blue
* I love that they love sex - makes life so much more enjoyable
* They love just as deeply as we do
So, to all the men in my life - "thank you." I have an amazing dad, two great brothers-in-law, three wonderful little nephews, and countless good guy friends. I also thank all my exes for everything they have taught me and for all those moments of love and passion. I appreciate the color they have added to my personal story. :)

I would have to say that I love the same sorts of things about men that you do and these extra added ones :-).
I love that when you are having a bad day or need assistance with your car or home they come to your rescue by giving you a big hug or by fixing the problem.
I love it when they get all nervous and shy when they want to kiss you for the first time or ask for your number or ask you out on a date.
I like how when I'm having an overly emotional episode they are able to put things into perspective for me and give me good advice.
I like when they offer to carry the groceries, heavy bags or open doors for you.
I love how they can smell good, even if they stink.
I love how a guy can make me feel small next to him.
Some of these are repeats, but anyway...
I love how they'll put their hand on the small of your back when walking into a room.
I love when they'll hold out their hand for me to take when I'm stepping up a curb or walking on ice (as if I'm not experienced with these things).
I love their strength.
I love watching them work (whether it's debugging the computer or mowing the lawn, I'm just facinated).
I love that they can wear hats almost anywhere.
And I could probably go on and on...
