Great Idea!!

I am Catholic and celebrate Christmas with all the trimmings! I love this Holiday, the hustle, bustle, time spent with friends, everything!

Christmas is one of my favorite times of year, but as I get older and am still single it tends to get more and more difficult as well. I come from a small family of 4, my younger (26) brother has a girlfriend who has a 9 yr old daughter, but neither the girlfriend or the daughter are very close to my family. Therefore the Christmas celebration is usually a very quick, they come over to my parents, rip open presents, say thanks, and leave, never to be seen again during the holidays. The little girl can also be quite rude if she doesn't quite care for the present you bought her.

So this year I am working nights through the holidays and will be there for dinner and then back to work. Depending on my situation next year I am seriously thinking about heading on vacation so that I can get some space and relax during the holidays instead of having my singledom staring at me in the face. And just in case I am madly in love....I'll wait to book that ticket! :)
