sex drive?

I'm 23 and single for over two years. Although I haven't gone more than three months or so without sex (since being single), I find that I have totally lost interest in it. Since being single I've been having sex only with friends, and often with the same person(s) on a repeated basis over a few months. So none of it was totally impersonal.
But over the past year or so, I have completely lost interest in sex. When my current "convenient friend" calls, I'm never excited. It feels like a chore. Sometimes I agree in order to cuddle and feel less alone (sad as that may sound) but rarely is it fun. I have stopped looking at porn or sexual info that used to interest me. Even masturbation, which I've been performing satisfactorily since I was five years old, has started to suck. (When I force myself to do it, it might seem fun momentarily, but the climax is always a disappointment, which was never a problem in the past.)
What is my problem? Why, all of a sudden, does sex hold no interest or excitement?

It sounds like you don't want just sex, but the love that can go along with it as well.
I agree with Shy - sex without love only goes so far. For me, that intense emotional connection makes the physical one even more amazing. In fact, sex with someone I don't love is hardly worth it.
As for the solo sex -- sounds like you're just in a lull. Perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. Maybe it's just time for a break from sex in general - but you'll get your spark back, I'm sure.
