Has anyone heard of High Life Adventures? It's a group that claims to offer many events for singles in various areas of the country, ranging from rock climbing, rafting, wine testing, etc. I'm thinking about looking into it, but I'm not sure that it isn't a scam. Does anyone have any thoughts on the club?

I had never heard of the club so I looked it up online. The only cities I saw listed were Chicago and Indianapolis. If you are concerned about it being a scam, you could always contact your local Better Business Bureau and see if anyone in your area has reported misconduct.

It doesn't seem like a scam to me, but if they want money I would be a little more weary. There are a couple of websites out there that allow you to meet new people in your area. Try Meetin.org...it's not necessarily a 'singles' thing but when you meet new people there are more possibilities for meeting a person you could date, or even fall in love with.

I know I'm really late answering this - but maybe I can answer this for someone now. I joined Highlife (in Chicago) a few years ago and I loved it! There are a lot of hot guys in the club too, which is a bonus. I met a guy in the club about 4 months into it and we dated for 2-1/2 years, it didn't work out, but it was well worth joining! Be prepared though - there is a lot of random hooking up going on - which can be fun of course too. :) It does get a little pricey, but the events are usaully a lot of fun.

I just joined meetup - it looks a lot like Highlife, but a lot cheaper for sure!
