I am slightly bummed that slowly, the Christmas lights are coming down. Don't get me wrong, Christmas and the weeks leading up to it were fantastic, but it seems like it STILL managed to fly past me. Now I'm left with this weepy feeling. Here it is, almost four days later and I am still in denial that it is all over.
Okay, I feel better now! Thanks for reading!
Oh, I was going to ask out of sheer nosiness what everyone is doing for NYE. I will most likely stay in this year so I will live vicariously through you guys.

Smile,
Deirdre
Well, it's looking like I may be spending it with C.
I have no idea to be honest.
Have a hug!!!
Pretty sure that like you, I will be staying in as well. :)
It'll be a nice opportunity to reflect and prepare for a new year of new goals. :)

Oh, thanks for the hug, but I am not bummed out about staying in this NYE. I have done it many times in the past. I have been invited to a couple of get togethers, I just feel like avoiding the drunks and the smoke this year.
That doesn't mean that I'm not interested in hearing what all of you are doing, however :) I guess it is comforting to know that others are going to "go it alone" as well. Again, not that I'm bummed, it's just comforting. I don't feel like such a loser when the friends of mine who have invited me to go out and join them say, "YOU AREN'T GOING OUT ON NYE!?!?!?" As if it is a crime of some sort.
Well, for those of you going out be safe and have fun! For those of you staying in, maybe I will see you around midnight on the boards ;)
