You may need iron. Could you be anemic? I personally don't use vitamins, sorry. No advice on that topic. Other than, I do know that low iron will sometimes cause fatigue. Are you getting enough sleep? Are you drinking plenty of fluids?
I don't know what kind of diet you are on but when I was taking in no more than 30 grams of carbs per day, I felt great. Of course, I was substituting the extra carbs with tons of leafy green veggies so, that makes sense.
I was once told by my doctor that taking flinstone multi-vitamins was just as good as any other! As far as the fatigue goes, maybe you aren't getting enough sleep. Exercising takes energy, which if you haven't done it in the past, requires more sleep. Also check the types of foods you are eating...carbs, fat intake...too much of these are not good! Increase your fruits and veggies..and definitely drink TONS of water! If none of these things work...I would check with your doctor. They can do a simple blood test to see if you are lacking anytype of vitamin...like the other poster said..could be low iron! But the doc may make other recommendations as well to help with the situation! Let us know what you find out!

If you say you haven't been getting as much sleep as you should that could be a huge culprit. I don't think people realize most of the time how important getting our 8 hours a night is. I know most likely you can't do this all the time but you should try to get at least 7 a night and if you can't try to make up for it when you do get a chance to sleep more than 8 hours. This works for me. I'm one to need at least 8 hrs a night to feel fully awake and functional the next day. Sometimes it also is the quality of sleep you get too. If you don't spend enough time in REM (deep sleep) and get interrupted sleep then you aren't going to feel rested no matter how many hours you sleep. There could be those other factors too like others were saying but try figuring out which factor you are most lacking in and that probably is the main reason.

When's the last time you had a complete checkup?
Unusual fatigue can be caused by a million things. It's a symptom - not an affliction. You need to find out what it's a symptom OF.
Besides - you should always have a complete physical before starting any new diet and exercise program.

I have a bad habit of forgetting to take my vitamins - in fact, I haven't taken any in a long time.
I know I should go in for a checkup- it's been awhile since I've gone in without being sick.
If it's not enough sleep, it's not because I'm not in bed long enough.
Do you know how many calories you are taking in? What does the diet look like specifically?
Are you eating carbohydrates alone at all? Some people show negative reactions to carbohydrates that makes them feeling tired.
If you could post an example of your diet maybe we could see if there is something there causing the problem.
